Fauth for many Hagen Family facts and pictures they so graciously shared; to Clara Garrett Fountain for the preservation of the Garrett Family History compiled by her father many years ago; my mother, Inez Wilson Daughtrey Hagen, and her sister, Ethel Daughtrey Ellis, for the Daughtrey legacy they helped to preserve, much of which came about through the efforts of their Aunt Emily Christine Daughtrey; and to all the many others who have contributed to this story.
This researcher's Hagen Family herein came from Lancaster Co., PA to Richmond, VA some 100 years ago while the Adkins came to the Pittsylvania Co., VA area when it was Halifax Co. before the Revolution. Adkins decendents remain in that area today.
