Clyde S.Humes, 53, of Hanover, passed away suddenly but peacefully, in his home on Thursday, October 23, 2014. He was predeceased by his father, Andrew; and brother, Wally. Clyde is survived by his wife, Frances L. Humes; children, Stephanie, Elizabeth and Gary; eight grandchildren; mother, Frances; brother, Jack; sister, Myanna; and mother-in-law, Mary Lane. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 1, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, Ashland, Va., where a procession will follow to Monticello Memory Gardens Cemetery in Charlottesville, Va. Arrangements under the direction of Nelsen Ashland, Ashland, Va.
