My name is Tom (Thomas Oliver Knight, III) and I wrote some time ago with information on the Knight family history. If you're interested, Dr. T. E. Knight's children are Thomas Oliver Knight, II and Elisabeth (Betty) Jane Knight. His wife Ruby is not buried in Whaleyville but rather in Farmville. She, my father and aunt were unceremoniously estranged/disowned from the Whaleyville clan upon my grandfather's passing. My father died last year on May 20th, and I thought it time to set the record straight. Please feel free to contact me anytime. I've been to the family home in Whaleyville and took the time to locate the ancestral Knight plantation home (still standing I might add) in Gates County. I will say that my interest in family history has faded in light of certain revelations but I have information that pre-dates Dempsey and Esther Knight '96 if you're interested.
