The 1880 Federal Census for Wilkes Barre, Luzerne, PA, ED#119, page 651A, dated June 5, 1880 records Barbera Burk [Barbara Burke] (19 - PA/England/PA) as a servant living on Franklin Street not far from her future husband Patrick McMahon. Her father is listed as from England and her mother from PA.

The 1880 Federal Census for Wilkes Barre, Luzerne, Pa. (ED#114, page 559B) records Barbara's soon to be mother-in-law, Bridget McMahon (45 - Ireland), living with children Patrick (18 - PA), Thomas (16 - PA), Delia (14 - Ohio), and Ellen (10 - Ohio).

The 1900 Federal Census for Sayre Borough, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania, District 12, page 116B, dated June 9, 1900 records the widow Barbara McMahon (Sept 1872 - PA/England/England) with children Anna (Sept 1883 - PA), James (Apr 1884 - PA), William (Jan 1886 - PA), and Dennis (May 1887 - PA) living on Miller Street. Barbara indicates she has had 4 children all of whom are still living.

The 1910 Federal Census for Sayre Borough, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania, District 31, page 264A records the widow Barbara McMahon (42 - PA/Ireland/Ireland) with son Dennis (19 - PA/PA/New York) living at 207 Miller Street. Nearby is daughter-in-law Julia McMahon with her son Mathew. Barbara reports that she has had 4 children all of whom are still living. Dennis is a Machinist at a Car Shop. (Note: It makes no sense that Dennis indicates his mother is from New York.)

The 1920 Federal Census for Sayre Borough, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania, District 33, page 68B records the widow Barbara McMahon (49) with son Den (24) living at 207 Miller Street. Dennis is listed as a machinist at a tool manufacturing plant.

The 1930 Federal Census for Sayre Borough, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania, District 36, page 63A records the widow Barbara McMahon (50 - PA/PA/PA) with son Dee (37) renting at 207 Miller Street. Dee [Dennis] is listed as a machinist at a tool works.

It is not a reading of the cemetery and is not a complete representation of the burials therein.
