The 1900 Federal Census for Lancaster City, Ward 8, Lancaster Co., PA, District 70, page 276B taken June 12, 1900 records Walter T. Hagens (May 1880) boarding at the home of John and Annie Hershey at 369 Love Street [now Prospect Street]. Walter is a Laborer.

The 1900 Federal Census for Salisbury Township, Lancaster Co., PA, District 107, page 99B, taken June 14, 1900 records Ward Hagen (Oct 1878 - PA/PA/PA) as a Servant / Farm Laborer in the home of John B. (March 1863) and Lizzie (April 1863) Harsh. The Walter Hagens above is most likely someone else, although I not found any other Walter Hagen in or around Lancaster.

The 1920 Federal Census for Philadelphia Ward 28, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, District 893, page 83A, dated January 9, 1920 records Ward W. Hagan (40 - PA/PA/PA) and his wife Laura Hagan (35 - PA/PA/PA) living at 2561 N Chadwick Street. Ward is employed as an Engineer with a Crane Operating Company. Also in the household is Ward's brother-in-law, Jerome Schover (35), with his wife, Frances Schover (31), and their children Jerome (8) and Russell (8). Jeremone is a Conductor with the Traction Compnay.

The 1930 Federal Census for Camden City, Camden Co., New Jersey, District 65, page 19B, dated April 9, 1930 records Ward W. Hagen (50 - PA/PA/PA) and his wife Laura Hagen (45 - PA/PA/PA) living at 1335 Princess Avenue. Ward is employed as a Crane Operator for the Camden Varga Company and has been married to Laura for 25 years. Also in the household is a servant, Anna Richtelberger (45 - Germany).
