The 1870 Federal Census records Susan living with her brother Richard and his wife Ann at Sandy Creek, Warren Co., N.C. Sue gave a small sized copy of the New Testament to her neice, Sallie Green Wortham Blackwell, daughter of Richard Jordan Wortham.
