On the other side of James and Raney Law is the Jesse (62) Lawrence family. This is probably a brother of Raney's father, Henry Lawrence, in that Henry and Gilly are listed on the next page of the census. In the household with Jesse, a miller by trade, is Arthur Lawrence (50), Nancy Lawrence (65), and Lawrence children: Henry (14), Letitia (12), Elizabeth (17), Ferily (10), and William (9).
