The 1880 Federal Census, Pennsylvania, Lancaster City, District 157, page 181A records Henry (47 - PA/PA/PA) and Ester (44 - PA/PA/PA) Ochs with children James (24), Henry (21), Emma (19), Jennie (16), Lillie (13), George (10), and Charles (8) living on Locust Street. Henry is a Machinist while children Emma, James, and Henry work in the Mill.

The 1900 Federal Census, Pennsylvania, Lancaster City, ED#60, page 181A records Henry (Nov. 1833) and Esther J. (Oct 1834) Ochs with children James (July 1855) and Emma (Feb 1864 living at 414 John Street. It is of interest that the marriage is listed as 36 years and that they had 4 children of which 3 are still alive.
