Obituary in the Camden Courier, July 2 (page 2) and July 3 (page 15), 1941: HAGEN - On July 2, 1941 [Wednesday], Anna M., Widow of Charles L. Hagen age 79. Relatives and friends if the family, also members of North Baptist Church, are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday at 1 p. m. at the Funeral Home of Joseph H. Murray and Son, 408 Cooper Street, Camden. Interment at Harleigh Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening. The death certificate for Anna M. Hagen records her date of birth as July 3, 1862 in Lancaster, PA and date of death as July 2, 1941 in Camden. Her parents are listed as William Long, born in the USA and Elizabeth Stark born in Germany. Her address is 616 North 2nd Street in Camden which is also the address of the informant, her daughter, Nellie Hagen. The family has been living there since 1899.
A telephone call on July 18, 2006 to Harleigh Cemetery, 1640 Haddon Ave., Camden, NJ 08103 (856-963-0122) determined the burials in the Haddon Section, Lot 167 for the following family members: Charles L. Hagen (July 9, 1912), Annie M. Hagen (July 5, 1941), Mary Elizabeth Hagen (Nov. 13, 1974), Annie R. Hagen (April 25, 1896), and Annie A. [Agnus] Hagen (July 23, 1925). There was a description of a large monument at the grave site but no record of Levi. [The dates given are dates for the burials] Michele and Gloria at Harleigh were helpful.

Just wanted to catch you up on what information I got at the Harleigh Cemetery. Nice gentleman that is a genealogist really did well by us. He copied all the information he could find and even made maps of the cemetery and the mausoleum and marked the plots out for us and then took us to the different locations.
