He is in the home of Benjamin and Sarah Dowart but since the ages of the the Dowarts are 33 and 29 respectively, Harry is hardly a grandson. Harry is an Apprentice Blacksmith (not to Benjamin).
The 1900 Federal Census for Lancaster City, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, Ward 9, District 74, page 325A records Harry J. (May 1852) and Dora B. (Oct 1861) Zecher with children Emma L. (Jan 1884) and Clarence W. (Dec 1885) living at 322 Lancaster Ave. Harry is a Coach Finisher and has been married 17 years with 2 children.
The 1910 Federal Census for Lancaster City, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, Ward 6, District 74, page 231A records Harry (54) and his wife Ella (53) Zecher with a son William C. Zecher (25). Harry is a laborer in a machine shop and this is his 2nd marriage.
