The Daily Press Ruth R. Cutchin January 29, 2007 HOLLAND - Ruth Paige Rountree Cutchin, wife of Jacob Oliver Cutchin Jr., died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wright Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
HOLLAND - Ruth Paige Rountree Cutchin, 68, passed away Jan. 27, 2007. A native of Nansemond County, she was a daughter of the late Presley L. and Mamie Weaver Rountree. She was a retired substitute mail carrier and a member of Somerton Friends.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 48 years, Jacob O. "Jake" Cutchin Jr.; two sons, Scott D. Cutchin and wife Carolyn and Chorey M. Cutchin and wife Kathy; one grandchild, Allen C. Cutchin and fiancee April Babb; two sisters, Doris R.

SUFFOLK - Mamie Weaver Rountree, 81, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, [1990] in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.
A native of Brunswick County, she had lived in Suffolk most of her life. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Rountree was a member of Somerton Friends Meeting, where she served as an elder. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star No. 137, where she was a past secretary.
Survivors include four daughters, Peggie R. Jones, Doris R. Glenn, Ruth R. Cutchin and Susan Davis of Suffolk; a sister, Ruth W. Rountree of Suffolk; three brothers, Roy W. Weaver and Harry Lee Weaver of Suffolk and Richard H. Weaver of Branford, Conn.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Herschel Hill. Burial will be in Somerton Friends Meeting Cemetery.
