(41 - VA/Ohio/VA) and Daisy (24 - NC/VA/VA) Franklin and siblings Ralph (3 - VA) and Daisy Pearl (2/12 - VA) [Myrtle and Daisy are twins]. Charlie is a Farm Hand and has been married to Daisy for 4 years. They have had 3 children all of whom are still living. They are living with Parley (58 - VA/VA/VA) and Molly (52 - VA/NC/VA) Nance and their children Alma (23 - NC), Maud (17 - NC), and Paul D. (13 - NC). Also in the household are grand daughter Guimmie Cox (5 - NC/VA/VA) and widowed mother-in-law Nancy Land (72 - NC/VA/VA). Parley is a famer living along Morrow Bone Road.

The 1920 Federal Census for Cave Spring, Roanoke Co., Virginia, District 122, page 165A,dated January 5, 1920 records Mirtel E. Franklin (9 - VA/VA/VA) living with her parents, Charley A. (52 - VA/VA/VA) & Dassie (31 - VA/VA/VA) Franklin, and siblings Ralph E. Franklin (13 - VA) and Dassie S. Franklin (9 - VA). Charley is a farmer. Interesting to note that Ralph is listed as a daughter.

The 1930 Federal Census for the City of Roanoke, Virginia, Jefferson Ward, District 29, page 108B, dated April 2, 1930 records Myrtle E. Franklin (19 - VA/VA/NC) living with her widowed mother, Daisy H. Franklin (44 - NC/NC/NC) and siblings Ralph E. Franklin (23 - VA) and Daisy S. Franklin (19 - VA) at 916 Dale Avenue. Ralph is listed as a son and works as a Pressman at a Print Shop while Daisy has no employment.

The 1940 Federal Census for the City of Roanoke, Virginia, Jefferson Ward, District 119-35, page 575B, dated April 2, 1940 records the widow Mrytle Daughtrey (30 - VA) as a step-daughter living with Peter G. (66 - VA) and Daisy (55 - NC) Wright at 823 Dale Avenue. Also in the household are step-daughter Daisy Franklin (30 - VA) and daughter Helen Wright (18 - VA). Mrytle has completed 2 years of college, Daisy Franklin 1 year of high school, Helen 4 years of high school, Daisy Wright 2 years of high school, and Peter just 7 years of school. Mrytle is employed as a Saleslady at a Retail Ladies Shop.

He is born in Crockett, VA and his parents are listed as James R. Daughtrey and Nannie Ory Fisher. Myrtle is born in Henry County and her parents are listed Charlie A. Franklin and Daisy Hendricks Vance. Edwin reports that he is a widower and is employed as a truck driver. Myrtle is single.
