The 1880 Federal Census for Isle of Wight Co., Va. records G. W. (16) [George] and A. (18) [Alfred] Hingerty living in the household of C. B. (22) and Martha W. (22) Johnson. Martha [Hingerty] is their sister and their parents have apparently died.
The 1900 Federal Census for Windsor, Isle of Wight Co., Va. District 18 records Cassie B. (Feb 1859) and Martha W. (May 1859) Johnson with children George T. (Oct 1884), Cassabianaca (son-Sept 1887), Sallie W. (Mar 1890), Madison B. (Nov 1893), and Nellie W. (Sept 1895). Cassie is a Sawyer working in the Saw Mill owned and operated by his brother-in-law Thomas Hingerty. Thomas (Apr 1865) is living next door with his wife Maggie A. (Nov 1866) and children Ellie D. (Feb 1888), Bertrom R. (May 1890), and Otis J. (May 1894). Also in the household is his mother-in-law Nancy W. Johnson (April 1832) and niece, Maggie A. Johnson (Sept 1875). Cassie and Maggie are siblings (as confirmed in the 1870 Isle of Wight Co. census records for the family of Madison and Nancy W. Johnson).
