The 1900 Federal Census for Ward 25, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Page 6B, ED# 602) records the widow Elizabeth Lenox (71 - Mar 1829) living with her daughter, Maggie, and son-in-law Harry N. Craig and family living at 1933 Allegheny Street. It is listed that Elizabeth has been married 42 years and immigrated in 1849. She is not living in the Craig household by 1910.
There is a Philadelphia death certificate for a widowed Mrs. Elizabeth Lenox for May 17, 1902. She is from Ireland and is born in 1829. She was buried May 20, 1902 at North Cedar Hill Cemetery. This is probably "our" Elizabeth Lenox, wife of David Lenox, in that the residence is listed as 2054 E. Stella, which is the address of her son, Douglas M. Lenox, described in the 1900 census ... see general notes on Douglas M. Lenox.
