Ricahrd has a passport photo and is named as Vice President of Alston Tobacco Company, Inc.

Richard continues to travel abroad and has passport applications through Dec 16, 1922.

Obitaury for Richard J. Wortham
Richard J. Wortham, a wholesale tobacco Merchant died suddenly of heart disease yesterday at his home, 20 Argyle Place, Bronxville, at the age of fifty-two.
Mr. Wortham had offices at 103 Park Avenue, New York City. A native of Henderson, N. C., he had resided in Bronxville for a year and a half.
Surviving are his wife, the former Naomi Lousie Kehl, a member of the American Diplomatic Service for many years; a daughter, Betty Ann Wortham of Bronxville, and two brothers Willis L. of Jersey City, and Alexander S. Wortham of Ashville, N. C.
Funeral services will be held Saturady at 11 A. M. in Trinity Church, Ashville. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery there.
