Nearby is their married daughter, Lola Blackwell and her husband Thomas Blackwell (43 - NC) and their son, William Blackwell (8 - VA). Robert has no employment while Thomas is a Dentist in General Practice.

The 1930 Federal Census for Clay Ward, Richmond City, Henrico Co., VA, ED# 51, page 86B, dated April 7, 1930 records the widow Imogen B. Gary (67) living with her son-in-law, B. Thomas Blackwell (54) and his wife Lola G. Blackwell (44) and their son William M. Blackwell (18) at 501 South Davis Avenue. Thomas is a Dentist in Private Practice.

Robert married Imogen Byrd Mallory, daughter of John E. Mallory and Mary F., circa 1885 in Virginia. (Imogen Byrd Mallory was born on 24 Jan 1862 in Hanover Co., Virginia and died after 1920 in Richmond, Va..)
