The 1900 Federal Census for LoLo, Shoshone Co., Idaho, District 103, page 53B, dated June 13, 1900 records John (March 1841 - Scotch Candian) and Mary (Dec 1851 - IL/VA/VA) Stuart with their children Homer (Sept 1876 - Missouri), Archie (Oct 1882 - Missouri), Belle (Sept 1884 - Missouri), Clara (June 1887 - Missouri), Cora (Dec 1889 - Missouri), Elmer (July 1894 - Washington), and Minnie (Feb 1896 - Washington). Also in the household is grand daughter Viola Rife (March 1892 - Oregon) [See general notes on Mary L. Minter's sister, Marth J. Minter, for 1900 and 1910 census records listing Byron Riffe]. John is a carpenter who immigrated to this country in 1870. John and Mary have been married for 30 years and have had 12 children of whom 9 are still living.
