Josephine Gertrude and Gertrude Josephine were twin sisters. Their maiden name was Miller, but I believe that it was a stepfather's name. I believe that Gertrude worked at the Globe Ticket Co. in Philly, possibly with Josephine also.

The below SSDI must be "our" Gertrude in that her birth date matches that of her sister, Josephine Johnson Helms and the place of death is Cape May, NJ ... consistent with the above email details.
