Flavil Liles Cash Strother, 91, of Louisburg died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004. She was the daughter of the late Valeria Davis and Kinchen Alonza Liles. She was a native of Nash County. Mrs. Strother was a dedicated member of Louisburg Baptist Church and served as the church organist for 33 years. Mrs. Strother is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dolores and Dr. Robert Sloop of Wilson; a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Judy Cash of Bracey, Va.; a step-daughter, Shirley Taylor, and her husband, Joe, of Asheboro; a step-son, C.W. Strother of Louisburg; two sisters, Ramona L. Harris of Knightdale and Christine L. Ogle and her husband, Vinson, of Virginia Beach, Va.; five grandchildren, Bryan Cash and his wife, Sarah; Suzanne LeDoyen and her husband, Jason; Dr. Cathy Steffee and her husband, Dr. Craig Steffee; David Sloop and his wife, Kristen; and Robert Sloop III and his wife, Barbie; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands, Burnice Walter Cash and Alger Berkley Strother [who died in 1969]. The funeral was held Oct. 16 at Oakwood Cemetery in Louisburg. The Rev.
