bullet  Research Notes:

In an email from Bob Massie dated May 30, 2012:
Bob Massie's mother, Rita: Her maiden name was Pike. She remarried after divorcing my father, and became Rita Sullivan. Her mother (Eleanora) remarried Oscar Pinkerman. Thus the confusion. Rita Pike's real father was Louis Pike, Eleanora's first husband. But everyone really dealt with Oscar Pinkerman as if he was the true paternal father/grandfather. He was a good man.
