The 1920 Federal Census for Callands, Pittsylvania Co., VA (ED#139, page 64A, dated February 13, 1920) records G. E. (43 - VA/VA/VA) and Viola (39 - VA/VA/VA) Morrison living nearby Viola's parents H. C. and Sallie Morrison.
The 1930 Federal Census for Callands, Pittsylvania Co., VA (ED#4, page 53B, dated April 15, 1930) records George E. (55 - VA/VA/VA) and Viola (49 - VA/VA/VA) Morrison having been married some 15 years.
The Nov 17, 1955 issue of the Bee (Danville, VA) reported the obituary for Mrs. Viola Morrison where she was called a life long resident of Pittsylvania Co but died in a Lynchburg Hospital after living in the area for the last year. Burial will be in the Hundley Family Cemetery. She was the widow of Tim Marshall who died March 13, 1951. She is survived by sisters Mrs. John M. Oakey of Lynchburg and Mrs. E. C. Buck of Farmville. [Viola was also the widow of George Morrison who died ca 1945]
