Nell's married name (Mrs. E. C. Buck of Farmville) is found in the 1955 obituary of her sister, Mrs. Mabel Morrison Adkins. From that one finds:
The 1940 Federal Census for Farmville, Prince Edward Co., Virginia, records Ephraim C. (49 - VA) and Nell (42 - VA) Buck with daughters M. Anne (14) and Elizabeth M. (11). The family was living in Pittsylvania Co., VA on April 1, 1935. Ephraim is a Merchant in a Grocery Store.

The 1930 Federal Census for Covington, Alleghany Co., Virginia, District 6, page 158A, dated April 2, 1930 records Ephraim C. (39 - VA/VA/VA) and Nell M. (35 - VA/VA/VA) Buck with daughters Margaret A. (4 10/12) and Elizabeth M. (1 5/12). Ephraim is a Foreman at a Construction Company and has been married to Nell for 9 years.

, Elizabeth Buck On September 15, 2011, Elizabeth "Tootie" Buck Muse, passed away peacefully. Loving wife of 60 years of Lee Waters Muse; beloved mother of Margaret Ann Muse Clay and her husband J. Garry Clay of Urbanna, VA, Lee Waters Muse Jr. and his fiancée Evonne D. Ballard of Corona Del Mar, CA, Katherine Tucker Muse of Columbia, MD and her fiancé J. Kirk Kim of Mt. Pleasant, PA, and Elizabeth Morrison Muse Bell and her husband William Milton Bell III of Memphis, TN; proud Grandmother of Lee III, Tucker, and Alex Muse, and Bill IV, Carter, and Katherine Bell; daughter of the late Ephraim C. Buck Jr. and Charlotte Nell Morrison Buck of Farmville, VA. Survived by her sister Ann Buck Jacobs and husband Emmett Smith Jacobs of Wilmington, DE. Tootie was born on October 4, 1928 in Clifton Forge, VA. She was educated at Longwood College where she graduated with a degree in Art. She was a Docent at the Hampton Mansion. She was the Founder, Owner and Director of The Muse Studio of Fine Arts in Timonium for 35 years. The Studio was named not only after her but also to honor the Mythological Greek Muses who presided over the arts. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, The Society of Virginia Women of MD, The Charcoal Club and The Pastel Society.
The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, 10 West Padonia Road, Timonium, MD, 21093 on Friday, September 16 from 4 to 7 PM. A Funeral service will be celebrated in the St. John's Episcopal Church, 3738 Butler Road, Glyndon, MD, 21136 on Saturday, September 17 at 11 AM followed by private interment. Special thanks to the caring staff at Stella Maris Hospice, Assisted Living Team and the extraordinary Alzheimer's Care Specialists in Dublin Court at Mercy Ridge Life Care Community, Timonium, MD.
