The WWI Draft Registration Card taken June 5, 1917 records John Falinski born August 29, 1887 in what looks like Koyazkosvo, Risk, Russia. He is employed at Penn Hardware in Reading and has a wife and 5 children. His physical description is 5' 4" and medium build with blue eyes and light hair.

John and Kattie are living with her parents in the 1910 (see notes on S. I. George Jankoski for 1910 Census facts).

The 1920 Federal Census, Pennsylvania, Berks Co., Reading, ED# 55 page 67B/68A records Constance Jankowska (57-widow) living with her daughter Katherine (30) and husband John Falinski (32-Poland) with their children Konstance (10), Hermanie (8), Theresa (7), Rosa (5), Anna (3), and Cecelia (1 11/12). Also in the household is Stanley Falinski (28-PA), brother of John.

The 1930 Federal Census, Pennsylvania, Berks Co., Reading, District 64 page 232A taken April 12, 1930 records John Falinski (41 - Poland/Poland/Poland) and wife Catherine (40 - PA/Poland/Poland) with children Constance F. (20), Erma P. (18), Theresa L. (17), Rose H. (15), Cecelia A. (12), John L. (9), Martha S. (6), Florence M. (4 2/12), and Edmond L. (1 4/12) living at 531 South 18th Street. John lists his date of immigration as 1905 and his occupatiuon as Pressman for Hardware Manufacturing. John and Catherine have been married for 20 years.
