Note: research indicates that Mary McEntire's husband is Edward McEntire (MacKentire/McIntire). The 1910 Federal Census for Cherry Township, Sullivan Co., Pennsylvania, District 126, page 174A, dated April 27, 1910 records James (50 - PA/Canada (English)/PA) and Mary (51 - PA/Ireland/Ireland) Devlin with 6 of their 7 children: Thomas (19), George (17), Mary A. (14), Edward (12), William (9), and Joseph (7) living on the Dushore-Bernice Road. James is employed as a Coal Miner and has been married for 23 years.

The 1920 Federal Census for Cherry Township, Sullivan Co., Pennsylvania, District 149, page 207A, dated January 21, 1920 records James (60 - PA/Ireland/PA) and Mary (61 - PA/Ireland/Ireland) Devlin with 4 of their 7 children: Mary A.
