The 1910 Federal Census for the Hardy District, Isle of Wight Co., Va. (District 1, page 70B) records Robert S. (40) and Nettie F. (32) Bracy with children Clyde A. (8), Mary A. (6), Robert A. (5), Nettie O. (3), and Leroy (4/12) living next door to Robert's father, Mills Bracy (66-widower). Robert and Nettie have been married for 12 years and have had 6 children of which 5 are still living.

The 1920 Federal Census for the Hardy District, Isle of Wight Co., Va. (District 3, page 70B) records Robert C. (49) and Nettie F. (39) Bracy with children Clyde (17), Mary A. (16), Arthur R. (14), Nettie O. (13), Leroy (10), James H. (7), and Lilton H. (2 0/12) living on Courthouse Road near Munford Crossing. Also in the household is Robert's father, Mills E. Bracy (75-widower).

There appears to have been some unusual activities over that last 10 years in the by 1930 Nettie Bracy is living at Eastern State Hospital (for the "White Insane") at Williamsburg, James City Co., VA: The 1930 Federal Census for Williamsburg, VA, Distrcit 5, page 148B, dated April 4, 1930 records Mrs Nettie Bracy (50 - unmarried).

Nettie married Robert S. Bracy, son of Mills V. Bracy and Mary V., circa 1899 in Virginia. (Robert S. Bracy was born in Apr 1872 in Virginia and died after 1920 in Hardy District, Isle of Wight Co., VA.)
