The 1936, 1937, 1938,1939, & 1941 Roanoke City Directories record Kate T. Garrett (wid Robt M) living at 1029 Highland Ave. Her daughter, Tudor T. Garrett, lives there as well. Tudor is a Teacher at the Melrose School.

Kaziah married Robert Marion Garrett circa 1886 in Bedford Co., VA. (Robert Marion Garrett was born on 24 May 1840 in Bedford Co., VA, died on 20 Jul 1924 in Roanoke Co., VA and was buried in Saunders Cemetery, Bedford Co., VA.)
