Benjamin C. Fisher dies at age 80
Benjamin C. "Pop" Fisher. 80, 2250 Milledgeville Road, died Saturday in an Augusta hospital.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m.Monday at Elliott Sons Telfair Street Chapel with the Rev. Warren Hamm officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr Fisher, a retired electrician, was a member of Vergennes Methodist Church. Vergennes. Vermont and Local 1579 of the IBEW. He was born in Addison, Vermont but had lived in Augusta since 1920.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mildred Lucille Morgan Fisher, Augusta; two sons, Richard Harold Fisher and Robert Cox Fisher, Augusta; one brother, Harold W. Fisher, Vergennes, Vermont; and four sisters: Miss Pearl A. Fisher, Mrs Ralph N Hunt, Mrs. H. J. Allen, and Miss Ruth M. Fisher, Vergennes.
Pallbearers will be James Wiggins, R.J. Baurle, Tom Schneider, Tony Ciiles, Bill Hammett, Ben Timmerman, Forrest Ward, Bill Fell, J. H. Gibson, Bill Kirchheim, and Fred Schmidt.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Local 1579 and the Senior Citizens Bowling League.

(Jan 1856 - NY/NY/NY) and Nellie E. (June 1849 - Vermont/Vermont/Vermont) and siblings Charles W. (Jan 1882), Alice H. (Oct 1883), Perla A. (Aug 1885), George F. (July 1887), Mary L. (Sept 1890), Nellie G. (Sept 1892), Ruth M. (Jan 1897), and Harold W. (Sept 1899). Fred is a farmer.

Benjamin married Mildred Lucille Morgan, daughter of Richard Jacob (Dick) Morgan and Lillie Wylds Wolfe, circa 1930 in Georgia.
