SYLVANIA, Ga.---Mr. U. A. Zeagler Jr., 82. of 2345 Rocky Ford Road, died Friday, May 12, 1995. at Screven County Hospital.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home, with the Rev. Byron Scott officiating. Burial will be in Zeagler family cemetery.
Mr. Zeagler, a native of Screven county, was a lifelong resident of Sylvania. He was a retired farmer, member of Sylvania First united Methodist Church, the Sylvania Masonic Lodge No. 301 and was a former Screven County commissioner.
Survivors include his wife, Sara M. Zeagler: a daughter, Marsha Z. Thompson; Sharpsburg; a sister, Mildred Z. Whitaker, Norcross; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Grogan, Horace Frasure, Douglas Zeagler, Wade Zeagler, James Hill, Frank Zeagler III, Fred Lee Mobley and David Alverez.
Friends may call at the funeral home.
Ulton married Sarah L. Morgan, daughter of Francis Evan (Frank) Morgan and Cora Thompson. (Sarah L. Morgan was born on 4 Jan 1918 in Augusta, Richmond Co., GA, died on 11 Oct 2003 in Statesboro, Georgia and was buried in Zeagler Family Cemetery, Sylvania, Screven Co., GA.)
