Margaret Erline Donlevy Nelson, 84, passed away late Thursday evening, April 22nd at the home of her daughter in Richmond Hill under the care of Hospice Savannah. She was born April 10, 1920 in Savannah and lived in Chatham County until moving to Richmond Hill last October. Her parents, Frank Morse Donlevy and Erline Kemper Donlevy, preceded her in death. She worked for the Corps of Engineers during World War II and was a playground leader for the City of Savannah at Nathaniel Greene from 1952 to 1957. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and later Bull Street Baptist Church. She was a devoted daughter, wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William G. Nelson; three daughters and sons-in-law, Marline and Henry Taylor of Bloomingdale, Patricia and Ed Reese of Port Wentworth and Wendy and Mark Bolton of Richmond Hill; eight grandchildren and spouses, Dorothy Edge and Ronald, Frank Taylor and Andrea, Cynthia Jeffers and Steve, Tim Taylor and Lisa, Will Shearouse, Cara Sanders, Carla Shcarouse and Nicholas Bolton; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Frances Miller of Alpharetta; a brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Dot Donlevy of Jasper and a dear cousin, Marcia Perry of Richmond, Virginia. Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 25, 2004 at the Richmond Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 26, 2004, Clyde Chapel, Richmond Hill United Methodist Church, with Rev. Steve Meguiar and Rev. Ken Otto officiating.
