The 1910 census records 2 Prosper Hunts: A Prosper Hunt (22 - Indiana/Michigan/Michigan) is living in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois and in Watervliet, Berrien, Michigan a Prosper J. Hunt (21) is living with his parents Frank D. (45) and Annie E. (44) Hunt and sister Leatha (16). Prosper is an electrician for a lighting company.

A WWI Draft registration record indicates a date of birth for Prosper John Hunt as Aug. 22, 1888 in Chesterton, Indiana but he is currently living in Hillsborough, Florida. This is our Prosper John Hunt. While the 1910 census records 2 Prosper Hunts it is clear that they are one in the same. Consider the 1900 census with Prosper's birth place as Indiana and that is consistent with the draft record.

By 1930, Prosper J. Hunt (44 - Indiana/Michigan/Michigan) is recorded in the census records for Jacksonville, Duval Co., Florida, District 35, page 133B, dated April 7, 1930 and is married to Louise Hunt (45 - Georgia/Florida/Florida) living at 4512 Astral Avenue. He is employed as an electrician for a Traction Co. and has been married to Louise for 17 years.
