Fowler and works as an Operator for Purity Ice Cream and Dairy Co. He physical description is tall and slender with gray eyes and red hair.
The 1920 Federal Census for Columbus, Muscogee Co., Georgia, Ward 3, District 100 records Fowler A. Kinard (21 - Georgia) married to Gussie Kinard (22 - Alabama). He is a retial merchant in his own store while Gussie is a Saleswoman in a department store. Apparently this marriage does not last (death or divorce?) in that by 1930 he is married to "Maril R." and has a child, Dorothy, and step daughter Murriel ... see notes on step daughter Muriel for 1930 census facts.
The 1940 Federal Census for Danville, Virginia, District 106-28A, page 202A, dated April 4, 1940 records Fowler A. Kinard (40 - GA) with his wife Marie Kinard (42 - GA) and daughter Dorothy M. Kinard (11 - GA) renting a home at 867 Paxton Avenue for $35 / month. Fowler is a Credit Manager at a Woman's Dept. Store earning $2,210 working 52 weeks during the last year. Fowler and Marie have both completed 4 years of high school. The family was living in High Point, NC on April 1, 1935.
