Florence was born in 1918. She was the daughter of Joseph W. Fritz and Annie Sherman. She married Lawrence Prescott Kapp in March 1940. Florence died on 17 November 1992 at York Hospital, York, York Co., Pennsylvania.
Dallastown - Florence (Fritz) Kapp, 74, of Dallastown, formerly of Elmwood, York, died at 7 p.m. Tuesday at York Hospital. She was the wife of Lawrence Prescott Kapp. They had celebrated their 52nd anniversary in March.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Advent Lutheran Church, 1775 E. Market St., York. Burial will be in Bethlehem (Steltz) Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. The J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 24 Second St., New Freedom, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Kapp was born in Codurus Township. She was the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Annie (Sherman) Fritz.

She was a 45 year member of Advent Lutheran Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher in the kindergarten department for many years.

Mrs. Kapp also is survived by two daughters, Joanne Dellinger of Windsor RD 1, and Nancy Sumner of Dallastown; five grandchildren; and a brother, George S. Fritz of Glen Rock.

Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Richard L. Ehrhart, visitation pastor for Advent Lutheran Church.
