The 1900 Federal Census for Philadelphia Ward 11, Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania, District 195, dated June 14, 1900, page 194B records Edith Steward (sic) (Oct 1890 - PA) living with her parents Albert (Feb 1861 - PA/PA/PA) with his wife Mary (June 1867 - PA/PA/PA) Steward (sic) and siblings Mary (Nov 1888 - PA), Margaret (Sept 1896 - PA), and Albert (Oct 1899 - PA) living at 508 Hodward Street. Albert is a Shipper and has been married to Mary for 13 years. They have had 4 children all of whom are still living. Also in the household is Albert's sister, Anna Steward (Feb 1863), as well as 2 boarders [in-laws], John (Aug 1831 - PA/Ireland/Ireland) and Elizabeth (May 1833 - Ireland/Ireland/Ireland) Mitchell. John is a Watchman and Elizabeth indicates that she immigrated in 1860.
