Alfred B. (Bud) Jahraus was an airline pilot with Allegheny Airlines. As of 1977 he and his wife were living at 81 Lambeth Drive, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15241, and had a second home in Traverse City, Michigan.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on Oct. 22, 1921, he was the son of Harold A. and Helen Eugenia (Thurtell) Jahraus. He is survived by his wife, the former Jean Baker; two daughters, Nancy Reed of El Toro, Calif., and Michelle Paist of Traverse City; a sister, Mary Edna Hutchinson of Traverse City; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Hibbard Funeral Chapel, Traverse City, with the Rev. Donald Sunman officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapel on Friday after 10 a.m. Memorials may be directed to Jews for Jesus."
