By 1900 it appears that George has divorced his second wife, Elizabeth Cramer, and has married a 3rd time to Debbra Belknap and moves to Kennebec, Dawson Co., Nebraska. By 1910 he is widowed and back in Broken Bow, Custer Co., Nebraska By 1920 he is living with his son Perry R. Wilmoth and his family in Fort Lupton, Weld Co., Colorado. These womaen are 10 to 20 years older than George.
The 1900 Federal Census for Kennebec, Dawson Co., Nebraska, District 91 records George R. Wilmoth (July 1848 - WV/VA/Ireland) with his wife of 4 years, Delsy A. Wilmoth (Dec 1836 - RI/RI/RI). George is a R. R. Laborer.
The 1910 Federal Census for Broken Bow, Custer Co., Nebraska, District 72 records the widower George Wilmoth (56 - WV/WV/WV). He indicates that his last marriage was for 5 years.
The 1920 Federal Census for Fort Lupton, Weld Co., Colorado, District 227 records George R. Wilmoth (68 - VA/VA/Ireland) living with his son Perry A. Wilmoth (43 - WV) and his wife Eslie (37 - Nebraska) and children Anges (17 - Nebraska), Bertha (16 - Nebraska), Perry (13 - Nebraska), Ruby (6 - Colorado), and Opal (4 3/12 - Colorado).
George is not found in the 1930 census however the 1930 Federal Census for Precinct 37, Weld Co., Colorado, District 60 records P. A. Wilmoth (54) with his wife Esther May (47) and children Perry (24), Ruby (16), and Opal (13).



Researching earlier census records indicate the following:
The 1880 Federal Census for Glenville, Gilmer Co., West Virginia, District 139 records George R. Wilmoth (30) with his wife Elizabeth C. [Stockwell] (24) and children Peroy E. (4) and Pricy V. (2). Also in the household are George's parents Jesse C. Wilmoth (63) and his wife Susan (68). A few pages over is John W. Wilmoth (36) with his wife Mary E. (35) and their children Mahala C. (13), Sarah M. (11), Suan B. (9), Elsnira (7), Anderson L. (5), Louisa J. (4), Minnie M. (3), and James Jesse (5/12). They are all farmers.

The 1870 Federal Census for Glenville, Gilmer Co., West Virginia, Sandfork P. O. records Jesse C. Wilmoth (63) with his wife Susannah (50) and children John W. (26), George (21), and Hester L. (9). Next door is John W. Wilmoth (25) with his wife Mary E. (24) and their children Mahala C. (2) and Sarah M. (1). They are all farmers.

The 1850 Federal Census for Gilmer Co., West Virginia records J. C. Wilmot (45) with his wife Susan (35) and children John (6) and George (2).

George married Elizabeth Bashore, daughter of Jacob Bashore and Catherine, on 15 Apr 1888 in Custer Co., Nebraska. (Elizabeth Bashore was born on 18 Nov 1824 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, died on 13 Jul 1908 in Florid, Putnam Co., Illinois and was buried in Florid Cemetery, Putnam Co., Illinois.)

  Marriage Notes:

The Custer Co., Nebraska Historical Society has a copy of the marriage records for G. R. Wilmoth to Mrs. Elizabeth Cramer. These records indicate that G. R. Wilmoth was 38 years old and born in West Virginia. Mrs. Elizabeth Cramer is 52 years old and born in Pennsylvania. G. R.'s parents are J. C. Wilmoth and S. Rizetz [Rosenkrantz]. The marriage took place at John Wilmoths and was witnessed by J. W. and Mary E. Wilmoth.
Mrs. Elizabeth Cramer is most probably the widow of Paul Cramer and at the time of her marriage to G. R. Wilmoth, is actually closer to 64 years old rather than 52. Mary Landkamer of The Custer Co. Historical Society included the notes that report G. R. Wilmoth and Elizabeth divorced in 1891.

George next married Elizabeth C. Stockwell on 18 Apr 1875 in Glenville, Gilmer Co., West Virginia. (Elizabeth C. Stockwell was born circa 1855 in Barbour Co., WV and died circa 1885.)

George next married Debbra A. Belknap on 20 Jul 1896 in Custer Co., Nebraska. (Debbra A. Belknap was born in Dec 1836 in Rhode Island and died circa 1901 in Nebraska.)
