Charles and Robert are day laborers.
The 1910 Federal Census for New Orleans, 11th Ward, Orleans Parish, LA, District 175, page 99B records the widow Eva Smith (sic) (77 - Germany/Germany/Germany) with her grand daughter, Olivia M. Smith living at 723 Harmony Street. Eva has had 12 children of whom 4 are still living. Olivia works at a Tobacco Factory.
The 1920 census indicates that Eva immigrated to this country in 1846 ... see general notes for her grand daughter, Olivia Margaret Schmitt. Olivia and her husband live with Eva at 723 Harmony Street.
