Withers is Phillip's cousin]. Also in the household is Robert W. Withers (16). Phillip reports real estate valued at $4,000 and Robert reports real estate valued at $3,000. Next door is her son, Walter Withers (22), living with an overseer, Aham Crouch. Walter reports real estate valued at $3,000.

The 1860 Federal Census for the Western District, Campbell Co.,VA, page 544, dated July 20, 1860 records P. T. Withers (40) and his wife Flora V. (33) with their children Robert E. (10), Samuel T. (6), and Phillip T. (9/12). Phillip is a Tobacco Auctioneer and has personal estate valued at $5,500 including 8 slaves.
The 1860 Federal Census for the Eastern District, Campbell Co.,VA, Pigeon Run P. O., page 296, dated August 13, 1860 records Evelina W. Withers (59) with real estate valued at $1,300 and a personal estate valued at $13,000 including 12 slaves. Next door to Evelina is her son, Walter S. Withers (33) [Walter Scott Withers (born January 10, 1829 - died Novemver 7, 1896)] and his wife Mary M. (23) [Mary Margaret Clark born ca 1835].
