Matilda married William A. Adkins, son of Wyatt Adkins and Phebe Oakes, on 28 Feb 1863 in Grant County, Indiana. (William A. Adkins was born circa 1834 in Pittsylvania Co, VA and died after 1860 in Liberty Township, Grant Co., Indiana.)

Matilda next married Isam Jackson. (Isam Jackson was born circa 1835 in Indiana and died Febraury 24, 1862 in New Haven, Kentucky.)
