Don was born at the old General Hospital in Kansas City, his father was Frank Workman. He was adopted by Champ Clark Williams, Sr in 1938.Mr. Donald Williams was born Donald L Workman the son of Mr Francis and Nellie (Collins) Workman he was born in Kansas City Missouri and in the old General Hospital... Donald spent 4 year in the United States Air Force and was discharged with the rank of Staff Sargent. Donald was an Aircraft Welder during his tour of duty with the U. S. Air Force. Donald pursued the path of genealogy during his retirement years. Got interested in digital photography and has several CDs with photos. Donald has membership in the South Kansas City Baptist Church, he is an ordained Baptist Deacon, as of 1987.

Donald and Alta Louise (Garrett) were married in Warrensburg in June 14th of 1952 and spent several years there, moving to Kansas City, Missouri in November of 1963 to 8341 Locust Street, after 22 years they moved on September of 1985 to the present location of 10731 Beacon Ave. Kansas City, Missouri.
