The 1900 Federal Census for Ward 27, Philadelphia, PA, ED 668, page 132A, visit 135, dated June 1, 1900 records Francis K. (Aug 1865 - PA/PA/PA) and Bertha (Oct 1869 - VA/Mississippi/PA) Delph with children Robert S. (March 1889), Francis K. Jr (July 1894), and Richard P. (Feb 1899) living at 4429 Chestnut Street. Also in the household are Francis' brother-in-law Sterling Price (May 1875 - PA/PA/Mississippi) and Francis' widowed mother-in-law Mary Price (Oct 1840 - Mississippi/VA/England). Francis has been married to Bertha for 12 years and they have had 3 children. Francis is employed as "Supt Cigar Fact" while neither Sterling nor Mary have any employment listed.

The 1910 Federal Census for Alden Borough, Delaware Co., PA, District 91, page 76A, dated April 21, 1910 records Francis K. (44 - PA/PA/PA) and Perditha (40 - PA/PA/Mississippi) Delp and children Robt S. [Robert Sterling Delp] (20 - PA), Francis K. Jr. (16 - PA), Richard P. O. [Richard Pitt Owen Delp] (10 - PA), and Samuel A. (5 - PA) living on Oak Lane. Francis has been married to Perditha for 11 years and they have had 5 children of whom 4 are still living. Francis Sr is employed in the Book Keeper in a Cigar Factory.

The 1920 Federal Census for Upper Darby, Delaware Co., PA, District 210, page 187A, dated January 17, 1920 records Francis (54 - PA/PA/PA) and Perditha (50 - VA/PA/Mississippi) Delp and children Francis Jr. (25 - PA), Richard P. (20 - PA), and Samuel A. (15 - PA) living on Windsor Avenue. Francis Sr is employed in the Manufacture of Cigars, Francis Jr as a House Carpenter, and Richard as an Electrician for a Department Store.

The 1930 Federal Census for Upper Darby, Delaware Co., PA, District 162, page 154A, dated April 10, 1930 records Francis K. (64 - PA/PA/PA) and Perditha A. (61 - VA/PA/Mississippi) Delph (sic) and children Francis K. Jr. (36 - PA) and Samuel A. (25 - PA). Francis Sr is employed as an XRay Photographer in a Hospital, Francis Jr as a Builder in Construction, and Samuel as a Carpenter for Building.

By 1940 Francis appears to have lost his wife. The 1940 census records a Francis Delp as a widower living with his brother, Fred ... and the 1880 census records Francis and a brother, Frederick:
The 1940 Federal Census for Philadelphia, PA, ED 51-241A, page 2646A, records the widower Frank Delp (74 - PA) and his widowed brother, Fred Delp (73) living on North 21st Street. They both have completed 8 years of schooling and are self employed as Photographers. Frank was living at Drexel Park, Delaware Co., PA on April 1, 1935. The 1880 Federal Census for Norristown, Montgomery Co., PA, records Frederick (16) and Frank (15) Delp living with his parents Samuel D. (42) and Mary (36) Delp and siblings William (13), Mary (9), Samuel (8), and Thomas (6).

Francis married Perditha Aberdem Price circa 1888 in Philadelphia, PA. (Perditha Aberdem Price was born in Oct 1869 in Virginia and died circa 1935 in Upper Darby Township, Delaware Co., Pennsylvania.)
