S., Naturalization in Philadelphia on March 6, 1918, Reginald indicates that he was born in Weymouth, England on February 19, 1875 and emigrated to the United State from Cape Town, South Africa by enlisting in the United States Navy, U. S. S. Lancaster, on October 21, 1891. He arrived at New York on June 21, 1894 and that on acount of his service and also that he was a minor (age 19), it was not necessary to take out any additional papers (in order to become a full U. S. Citizen). He also state that he has since voted in the Presidential elections beginning in 1896 and has served as a juryman. He is currently married to Clara and has 4 children all born in Philadelphia stating their birth dates.
The 1910 Federal Census for Philadelphia Ward 26, Pennsylvania, District 603, page 264A, dated April 18, 1910 records Reginald C. (32 - England/England/England) and Clara K. (27 - PA/Germany/PA) Yearsley with daughters Christinana I. (6 - PA), Winifred A. (4 - PA), and Sevilla A. (2 - PA) living at 2439 South Carlisle Street. Reginald and Clara have been married for 7 years and have had 3 children. Reginald immigrated to the U. S. in 1892 and is employed as a Painter for Structural Iron.
The 1920 Federal Census for Philadelphia Ward 26, Pennsylvania, District 798, page 52A, dated January 16, 1920 records Reginald C. (42 - Wales/Wales/Wales) and Clara C. (37 - PA/Germany/PA) Yearsley with daughters Christiana I. (15 - PA), Winifred A. (14 - PA), and Sevilla A. (12 - PA) and son Reginald C. (6 - PA) living at 1429 Shunk Street. Reginald is a Buildings Contractor. One page over (Page 52B) is Ida Weicke Bethan, family, and mother-in-law Christianna Weicke.
Reginald's 1922 Passport application names his father as Horatio Yearsley.
