A Philadelphia Death Certificate records Charles' mother Mary Wang, who dies in Philadelphia on Sept. 29, 1898 from valvular disease of the heart aqt 82 years of age. She was living at S. E. Cor 7th & Girard Ave. and is buried on Oct. 2, 1898 at New Cathedral Cem [address is South East Corner of 7th & Girard] ... the 1900 census records William's widow, Christiana and family living at 638 Girard at the intersection with North 7th Street.

Mary married Joseph Wang. (Joseph Wang was born circa 1815 in Baden, Germany and died circa 1860.)
