The 1900 Federal Census for Lancaster County, PA, Ward 2, District 46, page 301A, dated June 1900 records Adam Tretter (May 1878 - Germany/Germany/Germany) as a servant in the residence of Stanislaus Sister (March 1844 - Germany) at 405 East Orange. Adam indicates he immkigrated in 1895. [This researcher believes the "Sister" surname is actually referencing "Sister" as a religious calling in that the "assitants" listed next to Stanislaus are all female (including Stanislaus, and sisters: Eusebis (Oct 1854 - NY), Des Victoires (June 1843 - Michigan), Celeste (Jan 1846 - Germany), Angelus (March 1850 - Ireland), Florence (Dec 1868 - PA), Wendelin (Jan 1868 - Germany), Jane Frances (Oct 1873 - Indiana), and Jolinda (Aug 1878 - Massachusetts). Cross referencing this location with the 1880 census reveals that the Sacred Heart Academy is located on East Orange. Sister Stanislaus is the Principal and the other sisters are teachers ... in 1880 there are 5 other teachers/sisters and 18 boarding students.]
