The 1900 Federal Census for Richmond, VA, District 91, page 220A, dated June 2, 1900 records Claude Lowry (20 - VA/VA/VA) [Claude Raymond Lowry] living in the home of what is reported as his widowed brother-in-law, Ezekiel W. Lowry (March 1861 - VA/VA/VA). Also in the household are Ezekiel's sons Grant Lowry (6), Robert Lowry (4), and Spencer Lowry (3) as well as his step son, Walter Lowry (22), sister-in-law, Eva Lowry (May 1879), and sister, Louise Falvey (Janaury 1860).
Note: Claude's marriage license to Lillian Mooring seems to indicate that Ezekiel is actually Claude's father. It appears that Ezekiel W. Lowry married Elizebeth G. McDonaugh ... see research notes.

The WWI Draft Regisration Card for Claude Raymond Lowry records his date of birht as January 23, 1881. He is employed as a Clerk for the C. & O. RR in Richmond, VA and his living with his wife, Lillian A. Lowry at 2616 E. Franklin Street.
