Edward Harvey is on the emigration ship's manifest where he lists his nearest relative as Edmund Harvey of Glenaraff (Glenariff), Antrim, Ireland. The manifest indicates that "Edward" is coming to join his sister, Mary Harvey, who paid his passage and is living at 220 West 129th Street in New York. He is listed as 5' 7", fair complexion, fair hair, and blue eyes. It is of interest that Mary Harvey (28) can be found in the 1910 Federal Census, New York, New York, 12-Ward Manhattan, District 545, page 230A as a servant in the household of William and Lucy Ray at 220 West 129th Street. Also in the household as a servant is Alice Harvey (30).

The 1910 Federal Census for Manhattan, Ward 12, New York County, New York, District 545, page 229B, dated April 21, 1910 records Mary Harvey (28 - Ireland) as a servant in the home of William Ray (60 - RI) and his wife Lucy N. Ray (55 - NY) at 220 W 129th Street. Also in the household are sister-in-law Annia Nevers (53 - NY) and brother-in-law Edward F. Nevers (50 - NY), both single, and another sevant, Alice Harvey (30 - Ireland). Alice and Mary are sisters. No immigration date is recorded.

A 1915 New York State Census records a single Alice Harvey having lived in the US for 10 years. She is 35 years old, born in Ireland, and is a servant for the family of Harry and Emilie Billings living in house #64 on East 92nd Street ... New York Passenger Lists, 1820-1957 records Alice Harvey (born 1878 in Antrim, Ireland) and Mary Harvey (born 1879 in Antrim, Ireland) traveling together and arriving in New York on October 29, 1906 on the S. S. Columbia sailing from Londonderry on October 20, 1905. Their last permanent residence is listed as Chicago and their current destination is New York to visit friends - Wm/Jno? Daly at 154 10th Ave. They were last in the U.S. in Chicago in 1905. The physical desription of the sisters is: Alice - 5' 7 1/2", fair complexion, fair hair, grey eyes; Mary - 5' 8", fair complexion, fair hair, blue eyes.
In addition ... New York Passenger Lists, 1820-1957 records Alice Harvey (born 1876 in Antrim, Ireland - servant) arriving in New York on September 26, 1900 on the S. S. Furnessia sailing from Londonderry on September 16, 1900. Her final destination is Chicago.
