The 1910 Federal Census for Windsor, Isle of Wight Co., Virginia, District 6, page 207B, dated April 15, 1910 records Benjamin C. (70 - VA/VA/VA) and Martha J. (64 - VA/VA/VA) Roberts with their children Pocahontas Roberts (34), Benjamin J. (32), Claudyne (30), Mattie S. (28), and Z. Post (26). Benjamin and Martha have been married for 46 years and have had 12 children of whom 8 are still living.

The 1900 Federal Census for Windsor, Isle of Wight Co., Virginia, District 18, page 139A, dated June 29, 1900 records Benjamin C. (May 1839 - VA/VA/VA) and Martha J. (Jan 1846 - VA/VA/VA) Roberts with their children Pocahontas Roberts (May 1874), Bennie J. (May 1877), Claudine (Dec 1879), Mattie S. (March 1882), Zenas P. (May 1884), and Lelian C. (Sept 1886). Benjamin and Martha have been married for 36 years and have had 12 children of whom 8 are still living. Next door is Ambrose R. Roberts (Dec 1869) and his wife Florine (July 1877) who have been amrried just 1 year. Next door to Ambrose is Francis Roberts (June 1840) and his wife Charlotte (Sept 1857). They have been married 40 years and have had 7 children of whom 6 are still living.

[daughter] (15), C. F. M. [daughter] (13), Pocahontas [daughter] (6), B. J. [son[ (3), and Cleadean [daughter] (6 months / December).

Benjamin married Martha J. circa 1864 in Isle of Wight Co., VA. (Martha J. was born in Jan 1846 in Virginia and died after 1920 in Isle of Wight Co., VA.)
