The 1900 Federal Census for Hale Township, Hardin Co., Ohio, District 85, page 77A, dated June 13, 1900 records William (Nov 1828 - Ohio/VT/VT) and Mary (March 1837 - Ohio/VT/VT) Patch and children John (Oct 1873 - Ohio) and Albert (March 1876 - Ohio). Also in the household are boarders Levi Thompson (Dec 1877) and his wife Oca Thompson (Dec 1879 - Ohio) and their daughter Maria (Nov 1899 - Ohio). Since Maria is listed as "G Daughter", Oca must be William and Mary's daughter (Ocie Patch, as listed in the 1880 census). William and Mary have been amrried for 45 years and have had 10 children of whom 7 are still living. Levi and Oca have been married for 1 year and have had 1 child. This is a farming family.

The 1910 Federal Census for Hale Township, Hardin Co., Ohio, District 104, page 106B, dated April 28, 1910 records the widower Mary Patch (71 - Ohio/Ohio/NY) Patch and son Albert Patch (34 - Ohio). Mary has her "Own Income" and has had 10 children of whom 7 are still living.

William married Mary Stoddard circa 1855 in Ohio. (Mary Stoddard was born in Mar 1837 in Ohio and died on 20 Oct 1927 in Hale Township, Hardin Co., Ohio.)
