The bride is the daughter of James A. Vaughan of Greenwich and of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Boyd Vaughan. Mr. Thomas is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Cox Thomas of Louisville, Ky. The ceremony was performed by the rector, the Rev. Dr. Robert B. Appleyard. The bride was given in marriage by her half-brother, Paul DeHoff Reed of Barnstable, Mass. She wore a gown of ivory peau de sole, cut along princess lines and made with a fitted bodice, short sleeves and a bouffant skirt terminating in a short train.
