Devoted husband of 30 years to Barbara Stryker Bourne; loving father of Heather (Brett) Pomykala, Allison (Ryan) Wilding and Matthew; son of Dick Bourne and the late Florence Helms Bourne; brother of Linda Harper, Rick Bourne and Jim Bourne; enthusiastic grandfather of Jake Pomykala. Viewing will be held on Sunday, April 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. and memorial service will be held on Monday, April 15 at 10 a.m. at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Rd., Fairfax, VA. In lieu of flowers, save a life and donate blood to the American Red Cross.
