Ethel S. Markley (Nee Craig) on February 12, 2010, of Collingswood Manor for 14 years, formerly of Glendora, age 96. Devoted daughter of the late Ethel and John Craig. Beloved wife of the late Wilton W. Markley. Wonderful and loving mother of the recently deceased Charles W., Sr. and his surviving wife Margaret and Craig S. Markley and his wife Rosalie. Dear grandmother of Debbie, Charles, Jr., Christopher, David and Daniel and great grandmother of 9 great grandchildren. Ethel was a graduate of "Palmer Business School" and worked for Blauners Department Store in Center City as head buyer for the women's clothing department.
She was a proud member of the Eastern Star, Daughters of America and enjoyed traveling, but her greatest love was that which she had for her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday morning from 9:15 to 10:45am at Chews United Methodist Church, 319 Black Horse Pike, Glendora, NJ 08029. Funeral Service 11am Saturday. Interment Chews Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ethel's memory to: Collingswood Manor, 460 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108.
